Carbon fiber separation technology
Low energy, low temperature processing is possible.
Our company offers a carbon fiber separation technology from waste CFRP using the electrolytic sulfuric acid method. The electrolytic sulfuric acid method utilizes conductive diamond as an electrode to electrolyze sulfuric acid, producing three types of active oxidizing agent solutions: peroxodisulfuric acid, peroxomonosulfuric acid, and hydrogen peroxide. This method dissolves the resin component of CFRP to separate the carbon fibers. Since electrolytic sulfuric acid does not contain heavy metals, it does not violate environmental regulations and is considered a particularly strong oxidizing agent that can be used safely in industrial applications. Moreover, sulfuric acid can be recycled, posing no issues related to waste disposal, making it an environmentally friendly treatment method. 【Features】 ■ Recyclable sulfuric acid solution ■ Ability to obtain regenerated carbon fibers with minimal strength reduction ■ Capability to obtain relatively long regenerated carbon fibers *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
